now i'm not a MOD but it seems to me that poor maggot has found himself enclosed by an increasingly tightening circle of wolves, a hard lesson methinks.
fascinatingly rivetting, s like rourke's drift :p

Nah.... more like Custer's last stand because he appears to have as much common sense as GA Custer...

I think it that some topics are given a chance to run where as other subject have been tried and always degrade into "IM RIGHT YOUR WRONG" but with insults and bad feelings rather than discussion and well rounded points, remember this isn't a democracy, the site is privately owned and responsibility for the content is delegated in part to the Moderation team, I would think it better to put your points to each member of the team, than have a thread like this which could in some sense be construed a axe grinding, I get that its frustrating but we all chose to be here and so we choose to abide by the rules including that the Mods are always right,

so if it ain,t a democracy ?? what is it that i1m a part off ???

Hmmmm, what do you think Robbi? Do you think I do? I understand the ban on politics, I was simply questioning it? Disagreeing or questioning does not make me a troll now does it Robbi?

Don't try and pull that old chestnut. I have read Tonys response, it's just a genuine question as to why some topics are OK, but others stomped on immediately.

Toddy did explain the modding once, basically it boiled down to "Say what you want, but don't disagree with the mods or we'll ban you"

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I understand this is Tonys house, and what he says goes. That is absolutely fine. I only asked the question, and now I have the answer.

So we can all move on in a politic free manner.

May be not, but this post sure does chap

Before this goes any further, and action has to be taken, I'm going to close this thread.

The OP has his answer, which boils down to "Tony's place, His rules."
If you (and I'm not directing this at anyone in particular) don't like the "No politics/Religion rules, feel free to start your own forum where you can make up rules as you see fit.

A final thought before lock, "A man's opinion is like his dog. I should be allowed to admire it without being expected to take it home with me."

Thread Closed.
