If anyone is near the Cockermouth area can they please identify the following for me - looks ex military but the structure spacings looks strange

Its an old ammo dump.
Just recently been announced that its getting flattened and turned into housing.
As far as I know it was sold for something daft like a pound and its owned by one of those offshore tax dodger companies based in Gibralter.
So no dodgy deals there at all, no siree.
We were talking about it at work yesterday actually.

I did wonder if it was heavy ordnance storage.

How so? I thought the Derwent Forest Development Consortium had social and community ideals; am I wrong?
