Hi all . I am Philip Craig 57 years young and I am currently half way through Mr Paul Kirtleys Plant and ID course which I can totally recommend . Ive always been an out door guy even over the past ten years of serious illness which over the last 2 years have gone into remission and slowly ive been gaining some of my life back . I was a Viking re-enactor for 10 years in my 20s and made everything from clothing , boots , weapons , and everything else needed by a warrior , villager , also ran my own group for over 2 years until the illness grabbed me . With starting to be a little fitter I began watching MCQ Bushcraft on you tube who got me hooked on bush craft as many of the things Ive already lived by being in the Norse Film and Pageant Society many years back . I really want to get out and doing as life is short but at the mo covid seems to be putting the mochers on that , hope its soon safe enough to go to some of the bushcraft shows and events . If anyone has any woods near buy I could use or go to , to practice , please , please let me know . All the best Phil .
