Going to start this and hope you guys join in with your tips and advice etc.

I'll do a little series on different drinks to take on a camp. This vid I'm looking at Taylors Coffee bags.
They get bad reviews online but if you follow the brewing directions I thought they tasted great.

For me its either coffee or tea with condensed milk poured in. I think any powdered whitener gives it a chalky taste.

Nescafe do a double choca mocha all in one which is quite good, although its more like hot chocolate with a bit of coffee as an afterthought.

Hot chocolate for the kids. I'm quite partial to a cuppa soup with a brick of noodles thrown in it.

I've been known to use a packet of instant hot chocolate as my whitener.sweetener in my coffee. Both at home and camping.

Nescafé 2 in 1. Got a few sachets of that in my bag. Also options bournvil hot choc....

You can still KINDA get bovril without taking a jar. In most wholesale places they sell the plastic cups pre-filled with bovril powder and sealed with foil at the bottom. I just cut the cup away down to the foil and it's a small pre-sealed bovril mix.

Oooooh... Rocket fuel over 100% proof!

I think it would be fine to use for the top fuel drag racers. :lmao:

It all happened a bit by mistake. I bought a hip flask from Varusteleka as a Christmas present to myself, but at 80ml it's about a triple measure. Ok, but not really an overnight stays worth, I wanted something with a proper nip to it.

https://www.varusteleka.com/en/product/ukkomatti-hip-flask/34299?ref=water-bottles

Then I was watching Moonshiners on Quest, and decided this was exactly what the tiny flask needs. I'm not at all sure I made a good decision, but if you're out in the woods at night and hear a poorly played banjo, run for the hills. :p:p:p

I'd take a ecig... best be save :)

You'd think so eh?

French fella being a bit of a pillock outside a nightclub Toulouse. Wait for it, it's a good lesson in Lithium battery dangers, and very scary. And perhaps a bit of karma for the bloke. ;)

Same. Not as good as the discontinued Bovril ones, but for pure convenience they do the trick.

Bovril cubes have been discontinued??

I take the Nescafe 2 in 1 coffee sachets or else some of the latte/mocha types sachets, no milk powder required.
The little squirty concentrate bottles of water flavouring are quite handy too if you fancy a change from plain water.

The actual dry cubes, yes. Now there's a Knorr stock cube thing that is too much for one cup so needs wrapping away somewhere, where they absorb moisture and turn to hunky liquid. The old ones were just like OXO, but tasted a lot better. I've recently discovered M&S beef stock, it's very good, but messy to deal with.

Thread here, and there's a massive thread on BritishBlades too.
