A question: will the indentation in the area tang-blade not weaken it? That area is the one I have broken a few knives in.

It's a dark epoxy that fill the gaps

Nice knife and I can see you put a lot of work into it.

However on personal level I wouldn't want to use it for field or food prep because you'd have the devils own job making sure it was properly cleaned afterwards. Those groves are a perfect way for cross contamination to take place.
