Been having an Intermittent ECU Light and fault. Bought a wee bluetooth compatible scanner for £6 and connected with free Android apps to my phone and all sorts of data and then fault codes appear, and can be reset.

Just a heads up to avoid getting ripped off for £75 at a garage.

What car is it.hopefully it won't come back.there could be underlying problems

£75 is way too much, i only charge £25 and that includes half hours diagnosis and fiddling time. these things can be good as long as you understand what they are telling you
