Patrol tent

Picked this up at the moot. Set it up at the camp and used it as a store for the duration of the moot. No poles came with it but that was no problem and it performed pretty well through some mixed conditions. A few minor repairs needed, but I think I got a bargain. 7' tall, 6' wide and 12'long. No lightweight, but will be great for winter camps.

Sort out a flysheet for it if you're wanting to use it in the Winter. It will transform it; make it much, much easier to keep warm and eliminate in-tent condensation whatever you use to heat it. If you're planning to use a flued stove/heater you can route the flue through one of the doors.

We used a couple of those (+ a radio tent) as our basecamp for many seasons of archaeological excavations in the wilds of Suffolk. Excellent find for £35.

What a bargain, reminds me of Scout camps .long ago, you still cannot beat canvas for most camping jobs.
