New sheath

Tonight i started on a new sheath this is for my own use so kept it nice and simple.
template of the leather i would need.
Cut and glued in to place
hand stitched and wet formed. Will leave over night then finish the shape, cut the belt loops and stain.
will post up the finished photos tomorrow.

I tend to wear a lose over bet for my camp knife ( like a gun belt) so will know better on my next trip out.

I kind of like that. I do like your knife though. What's the size blade on that? I have been thinking of getting some kind of larger chopper type knife; something like that, a leuku or a nessie.

I have stained the sheath and put some clear wax on it.
the SAK cadet2 is for scale

It has fillets to stop the stitching being cut and to space the leather to fit the knife but no second leather liner on this one.
