Funny that - I pulled one out of my drawer yesterday that my mum knitted and I never wear. PM on it's way.
You can't get rid of a jumper your mum knitted. I gave one knitted by my mother in law to a charity shop once and lived to regret it. :yikes:
My mother is not sentimental - ans she knitted one that suited me better shortly thereafter. This one wasn't even knitted for me - so all good.
I recommend charity shops. If they don't appeal maybe these could fit the bill. I don't have one but have been tempted. they appear to be very good quality and value.
