I picked up a decent ( I thought ) condition Salton 1101 vacuum bag sealer for three quid eatlier today but on closer inspection the wire that heats up was broken 
. So does anyone know what the specs are for this wire, resistance etc wise? I do have a spool of the wire that I got to make a foam cutter but it would be too much to hope it's the same stuff!
