I've been thinking about bringing the tipi to a meet but dont know if it might attract outside attention if I brought it to SS...I've had a look on googlemaps and was wondering if I put down for the meet, might there be a suitable place to put it? Its best not under trees as the fabric is (badly) reinforced plastic and I need to erect it fairly close to its drop off point as theres 12 14' poles and a calor bottle fire which I can't hump too far ;) We'd probably be arriving sat am as its the devil to get right erecting in the dark.

Hi Turbogirl!

Good name... There are some more 'open' spaces in the woods (you might have to fist fight Martin for his spot :O ) And I'd be more than willing to give you a hand with poles etc, if only to up the female contingent! If you could give us an idea of dimensions that would be great, and I'd say, if you come I'd bring some back up accomodation and see what you reckon...

We'll help you bringing it into/ out of the woods, and set up/ take down if required. :)

Ohhh, thats brill! I'm going to be weather dependant with the tipi and prob bring the hammocks just in case. I can set up independantly (with muffled cursing!!) but tis very welcoming of you all to offer assistance!

Really looking forward to it... having been at Rough Close and North Woods, I think the idea of being next to a truck cafe is definately the way forward ;)
