Im planning a trip to scotland (very dependent on one thing though, so I may not go...but I hope to)

Not bushcraft as such, but I have a good list of interesting places to see
I aim to get to Lewis to see Callinash stone circle
There are several routes to this island, and one of them is over Skye....not my thing really.
However Skye is interesting, its one of the few scottish islands to increase its population in recent decades, surley worthy of my attentions!
This is due in part to the self sufficiency movement...Skye is one of their fave areas,
Anyone know anything about this people so I can meet up??
