Oh no not another newbie!

Afternoon all, a complete newbie reporting in.

I've never rough camped, wasn't a scout, never slept rough, and yes I do have lovely fingernails. But now I want to build shelters, make fire, and kill it n' eat it.

Am I in the right place?

Cheers. Kit wise I've got an all seasons sleeping bag that I use in my camper, a selection of pen knives from when I was a kid, and a Bear Grylls (yeah I know) hatchet.

worth getting yourself a cheap hammock to apend some time in one day to see if you like it. they are very comfortable(as long as you have trees)
