thanks wood spirit im doing me best to get some gear to do me for this week end
being a newbie i havnt got anything sorted yet
but looking forward to meeting and learning from you all hopefully
will be a pop up tent and some alloy camping cook set i think and then just something to light a fire in

is there anything i need to bring to help out or no ?
will there be a bring and buy sort of thing there or not i may be intrested in some gear
or swaps i have 2 fold out fire grids pot stands will get a pic if any intrest

desert trousers (all smaller than me size, can give you the military sizes if needed)
isulation material for making pot cosy/ small sit mats
loft insulation material for us with stoves and stuff
Machete
Big knife (not a very good one so going cheap/fre???)
Cylumes
First Feild dressings and First aid bit and bots
Rations normal and veggie
Bungees
old school poncho
cooking pots

and a few other things

hiya, this is the state of play so far from the met office...

Friday:
Any remaining rain clearing from southern counties to leave the rest of the day dry and bright, with most places seeing some sunshine. Staying fairly cool though, with northerly winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
A little rain on Sunday, though mainly light, but otherwise plenty of fine and dry weather with sunny periods. Chilly overnight in rural areas, but daytime temperatures close to normal.

hmm, not too bad ? :)

Localized flooding in Henley In Arden today so fingers crossed by tomorrow that will have drained away and we should be in for a great weekend.
