My purdy new hultafors classic trekking axe!

Got the Hultafors classic trekking axe in the post today. I have always been a machete man, I tried an axe years ago (cheap one from B&Q) and didnt get on with it. So I though it was time to fork out for a decent axe and a pretty axe it is. I haven't used it yet but it feels nice to hold and is pretty damn sharp. I plan to put it through its paces by making a paddle out of a big log I acquired last night if I can split the thing. Must say I'm looking forward to it.

Is that the standard sheath that came with it?
The one that came with my Hultafors Agdor Trekking axe is crap. That looks a lot sturdier...

Yeah that's the sheath that came with it seems pretty well made. I was expecting a crappy plastic cover.
