I've seen several examples of leather stacked fire steels and knives across the internet that people had made, and had been thinking of trying it out for myself. This was my first experience working with stacked leather, so I wasn't too sure how successful that I would be. There are still a few things with the whole process that I haven't yet figured out, but I'm pretty satisfied with the results of my first attempt. I dyed it a chocolate color and put 2 coats of Super Sheene on it so far. I also incorporated a quick release that I've grown fond of on my fire steels.
