KIA is a popular brand here ( we have high import duties). The new ones seems to be good for the money. Paintwork ages quickly here, I see that US, Chinese and Korean cars get weathered paint within a couple of years, mainly on the bonnet and roof (sun damage).
Mechanically they are much simpler than euro cars, which is not bad.
You do get a lot of car for the money.
I imported two ex Wehrmacht G-wagens recently, through a UK dealer. Much, much better vehicles than the equivalent Defender.
I am restoring one (mine) of the Gs now. Then wife's will get the same resto.
I am selling her GLK, once mine is restored I will sell one of my newer cars.
( I love cars)
