Help needed-Used Axes and Garden Tools

I was reading a thread a couple of weeks ago I believe it was about axes and someone had posted a link to an online store selling lots of old gardening equipment including axes and hedging tools etc.

I always buy new tools rather than used tools, they are much more reliable than used ones.

Interesting - I rather like to think that an axe that has shrugged off almost a century of use has a reasonable claim to reliability

Stuff used to be built to last - it makes no commercial sense these days to manufacture things that you buy only once, which is why most manufactured goods these days are built with a finite life span in mind.
