Helle Eggen

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy an Eggen ?
I checked squidders link but they are sold out as is Ragnor
I just made a sheath for one and im absolutely gutted that i have to send it back to it's owner.
It's a fantastic knife and IMO it's serious competition for a lot of other bushcraft knives.
The birch on this one is particularly nice.

I really can't see why a Helle would be more prone to problems than any other knife of this type and from what i saw it was heads and shoulders above the likes of Brusletto and Knivsmed Stromeng in terms of fit and finish.

What's it like with a strike-a-light firesteel?
I've got an Odel

It's a bit pants even after grinding the ridge down to get a better edge.
I really like it though as it's dead sharp, feels a sensible size and it looks very pretty.
I only went for the odel as the bit that keeps your fingers off the blade (gosh I'm technical)is a bit smaller than the Egen.
