Chinese copy water filter.

Has anyone tried one of these filters?
Are they copys or the unbranded remnants from a bigger company (Katadyn/msr)

Any advise is welcome.

There's no need to take a chance on one of those filters when you can get a Sawyer Mini filter delivered from the States for 17 and a half quid.

My brother had one of those Chinese filters and it was pretty poor build quality wise.

Acoid the pumps as they are a nightmare, maybe a big one may be ok, a really big one though. The little ones are a trickle flow rate and gets progressively harder as you clog the filter as you pump them unless your filtering spring water, so you have to clean the ceramic, which gets messy. A pain in the derriere mon ami, go for some other filter type.

As for the china quality, some products are exact copies and some have lead in baby formula, so neu.
