Good spotting. Theres been a couple up by me already this year but I can't get near them.

It's good to hear these guys and the woodpeckers drumming again

I heard one in the sycamores in the churchyard at Arncliffe last Sunday, never got a glimpse though

av never seen any in the uk !! heard a couple , but only ever saw them in holland !!!

Had one settle in an oak near me when I was out walking the dogs 2 weeks ago, then it took off and flew right over my head shouting its head off.

That was a great sight as I'd not seen one for years, just heard them

I fleetingly saw one over the common by me last Saturday. Been hearing it for about two weeks.
