The aim of the Woodland Festival is to showcase traditional woodland crafts and skills, and to promote the sustainable use of woodlands. There will be many demonstrations throughout the weekend, including horse logging, hurdle making, pole-lathe turning, woodcarving, wood turning, chair making and seat weaving, basket making, decorative straw craft, bee skep making etc. Many of the exhibitors will have products for sale, and there will be the opportunity for members of the public to have a go at some of the crafts.
