Quite a few of these growing in our meadows, but don't know what they are

Cuckoo flower or Lady's smock. Either way it is Cardamine pratensis. Likes a bit of damp ground, and is a classic spring plant. If you like your edibles, this has a mustard flavour, and can be quite hot.
