I have just got back from a 3 day walk through the mountains near me from Garmish to Fuessen. I went with my farther in law and brother in law we slept wild each night.
I thought I would share some of the photos of the scenery and one or two of us posing for the camera

Not yet this will be our first winter here,
There was snow at 1500 metres a few days before this trip and on the first day we were walking in snow but most had melted by the second day, I dont have any photos of the snow but my farther in law does on his camera, if he mails them to me I will add to the thread for ye

Thanks for your comments guys,
I am having a good few weeks, tomorrow morning I am heading off to the Bavarian woods until thurs. I am hoping to do a good bit of mushroom picking.
It will also give my legs chance to recover from the hike in this thread
