Perfect for weight conscious backpackers and price conscious adventure racers. The weight, space and 2 doors of the Zephyros 2 make it a good backpacking tent for short to medium duration trips.
Based on an existing highly successful Terra Nova design, (the Laser style of tent), the single poled, low profile design of the Zephyros 2 gives sturdy resistance to bad weather
The tent is rated for 3 season use, so spring through to autumn conditions, and if you want to venture off the beaten track it’s suitable for wild camping as well as campsite stays
The Zephyros 2 uses the Wild Country Superflex alloy pole and alloy pegs
Tried and tested Wild Country, high performance flysheet and groundsheet fabrics are fully seam sealed giving a high level of waterproof protection
Pitching is quick and simple as the tent pitches with the flysheet and inner together.
The inner has one half mesh door which is midge proof for good ventilation and an additional door at the rear of the tent providing easy access for both occupants. There is one main porch at the front and the rear door enables the space under the flysheet at the back of the tent to be used for storage too.
The updated style now has additional ventillation at the each end of the tent and the end poles are on the outside making it easier to pitch.
