wild camping suggestions?

Im booked in to the Ray Mears lecture in Keswick at the end of may.
So i was hoping to use this as an excuse to go wild camping and have a long weekend away in the Lakes.

I have only ever camped at propper campsites in the lakes so i don't really know and decent wild camping spots around the keswick area.

I know people might not want to openly give away their secret spots, but if anyone wants to PM me i won't disclose them to anyone else.

There are plenty of places to camp that time of year there will be loads of tourists around you will not get anywere decent near town. There a few hidden places within walking distance I wil PM you later with more details.

I was thinking of being out of the way but not a massive distance away(short drive or walk) from the general vicinity of keswick so I can get to the lectures without too much hassel
