Which beginners Spoon carving knives and axe?

Hi i am looking to have a go at spoon carving i have a Helle Eggen knife which i think will do but the other tools i'm not 100% about i am looking at a wetterlings wildlife axe and a Ben Orford small crook spoon knife. Any help or advice please

The knife, a crook knife and something to cut a branch to length is plenty to start with.

Ben Orford's blades are lovely.

I'm left handed so my main spoon carver is left handed too but I've also got a right handed one for some finishing cuts

Carving a spoon should not require any special tools. It is just something people to do kill time. A knife and a cheap crook knife will be more than enough to start with.

The Eggen is fine for just about any carving job, I have one and it gets a lot of use.

A frost 106 and and a 164 will do the job for under £30 very nicely no other tools needed really
