I`ve got a roll of fabric kicking about which I bought ages ago to make some kind of insulation for a hammock setup. I went off the idea for whatever reason and the roll got slung in a cupboard. Anyone got any suggestions as to what I can make ?
It is a 60" x 5m roll of sandwich quilted waterproof and windproof fabric.
It`s basically two layers of nylon with about 8mm of polyester wadding in between. One nylon is shiney and waterproof and the other is windproof and more of a peached fabric. the whole lot is box stitched and quilted with approx 5cm squares.
60" is a perfect size to wrap around a hammock but I`ve got one of Ians underblankets now so I`m looking for something else to make. I think if I double it up it might make a decent quilt of some sort.
