What the hell is this!!?

Hi all this one is really bothering me, i cannot identify it for the life of me, it looks like one of those plants i should really know but yet i dont, let alone know of any medicinal / edible qualities! i have a feeling that it may be along the mustard family line but with purple flowers!? the leaves certianly look similar to the hedge garlic

any known uses? saw a link to fergus drenon uses the immature seeds as a pickle, anyone know of anything else edible or medicinal?
