Hi guys,
Is it possible to oversoak waterstones i left one overnight the other day (i forgot it was there) and the next night it seemed to make loads of slurry the texture of runny clay and wear down quite quickly? any ideas. This is one of those combination stones from axminster and the 1000grit seemed to be worst.
cheers lou

I keep mine in a water tight tupperware type contanier with H2O all the time. Never had a problem. Are you sure it's not the slurry from the last time you used it?
