Water Purifing Satchet Proctor & Gamble with ASDA

Being an avid outdoor enthusiast, whilst watching the t.v. I saw an asda/p&g advert. It stated that with each item purchaced, the companys mentioned would donate a water clearing purifing satchet to an African.

does anyone know anything of these sachets of powder, as it turned muddy water into clear drinkable water ?

Ah they've been around for a few years.

The satchets have flocculation agents in them aswell as chlorine. The flocculation causes all the dirt to clump together, making it easier to filter.

5 years is a long time ! And no one knows anything else !

The best thing I have ever seen, especially coupled with a "millsomething" bag thing.

Fail safe, brilliant. And the claim for 5 quid a pop is nonsense, at that price p&g could build a water system, and asda would go out of business. Must be far cheaper.

The natural replacement for old fashioned water tablets.
