wanted - coloured paracord

I was looking for some paracord to use as guy lines for a tarp in an orange or yellow or reflective or - well basically not camo

Does anyone have a good source in the UK for this?

Try this site www.supplycaptain.com They are an American site but have a good range of colours in 550 paracord at what I consider to be reasonable prices, even with postage ( $30.45 for 3 100ft lengths) I have purchase from them before and have a current order in for exactly the same reason as you. My tarp will soon be sporting neon yellow guy lines in the hope that it will stop the scouts tripping over them.

Or for £2 you could buy a load of lumi or hi-vis 6mm pony beads (evilbay), thread 4 or five up your guy lines (right to the top near the tarp). Once set-up space them out, it's a little more subtle than 4 foot of lumi yellow cord but you'll still see where they are (thus no surprise trips).

When your done, push em back up ready for next time. Just an idea.

Unfortunately our scouts don't do "subtle". I make sure guy lines are changeable and when they are not around it's back to OG cord.
