Vintage mountain pack ID ? French ?

Evening folks. Has anyone seen a pack the same as this ? I'm about to flog it and don't want to wrongly label or price it and have the thread derailed. I've spent some time looking, but to no avail. I suspect it could be French ?

I don't suppose there's a makers name anywhere is there ?

Can't see one anywhere , I'll have a closer look at leather work etc. There's no military type marks either

Is it possible it's a one-off custom-made one? Looks like good workmanship if it is....
