Not bushcrafty, but a very nice item.

Was part of a collection of travel memorabilia and selling to fund forest school kit.

Sold as seen, tickets still in the machine and still come out.

Any interest or questions welcome (but i might not know the answers).

£275 was £225, now £150 posted UK mainland. Bank transfer preferred. This is heavy about 3kg?

I've no real use for it I'm afraid, but just to say these exact machines were used on Belfast buses up until the early eighties.

Wow, looking at that last image made me feel old as this little song popped into my head from nowhere~

"Ker-ching a work, ker-ching a school, ker-ching a cheaper, ker-ching a saver strip"..........

Please someone else say they remember it too!......

I remember using these in the late 60's & early 70's when buses had conductors and of course conductresses, they kept jamming and ripping the tickets, the machines not the conductresses, and they were heavy, having them hanging around your neck was no joke, the machines I am talking about not the conductresses ,especially on the back loader buses, where hanging on for dear life was the recipe of the day.....the good o'l days. Then they brought in one-man-buses and these machines were made redundant, and the job died too.
