me too Chris....to have one with belt , liner and hood .....i may just have someone whack it on the bay for me .....i think wax jackets have died a death with the vintage shops as the hipsters want tweed and wool....or it has to be belstaff.

the solway imho is one of the best working coats Barbour made ....

i do have a Belstaff Countryman somewhere as worn by the hard hitting sheep herding cow wrangling Jack Sugden .....maybe that will do better ????

Mate, if I didn't have a Barbour Longshoreman Smoke and a vintage Barbour A600 trench coat I would be all over this.
The Hipsters are missing a trick buddy , and as for Bushcrafters, well,they should be all over this!!
True, I wouldn't want to tab miles in mine ,but in the woods, over wool, in any weather, give me a good oilskin, and yours is one of the best out there!
