This has been languishing on my hard drive for far too long. A little overnighter from when I was just starting out with hammocks.
Went westwards from Lynton to Parracombe, via the Valley of the Rocks, Woody Bay and Hunters Inn. Not a long trip, 19km (12 miles), but I was toting 18.5kg, 40lb. It's been an enlightening year for me (and a lightening one too), last month I went out with a pack size less than half that... and a correspondingly lighter bank balance too!

(20 minutes of me bimbling, concise version in next post)

Lovely work there Sir - Thank you for posting and making the extra time to film it all in the first place.

A very entertaining watch, always enjoy your videos.
I get what you are saying re the hammock camping on steep slopes & ease of movement.

But I always look for those type of spots when wild camping, because there is less chance of dog walkers or others disturbing you.

Thanks for sharing.
