Has anyone got a pair of these?

I've got some kevlar woven with rubber covering gloves that I use when clearing undergrowth or jobs that are likely to cut/scratch me. The only thing is I don't think they'll stand up to heat very well and will melt if I try to take the billy from the fire etc.

I hear turtleskin gloves offer very good protection but I don't know if they will handle heat very well. I understand they are thin and therefore may conduct heat more easily, but is this true and would they melt at the first show of a flame.?

For those that don't know, no turtles were killed in the making of these gloves...

Cheers
