Loz,

I suspect the trees are a variety of hawthorn. The size shape and bark are all indicative of that. Hard to tell too much about the berry due to focus, but I'm fairly confident.

God i feel stupid now, hawthorn slipped my mind. With having spines ( thorns ) i should have guessed !

I'll try and get a better pic of the fruit, maybe wait till the leaves return.

Hi loz,

1 Jews Ear (Auricularia auricula-judae)
2 ?? Turkeytail (Trametes veriscolor) :dunno:
3/4 Southern bracket (Ganoderma australe) or Artist's bracket(Ganoderma applanatum)
5 Phellinus spp :dunno:
6 Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)
7 Cleavers/goosegrass(Galium aparine),Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus ficaria) note that Ranunculus is part of the Buttercup family and are poisonous, but R. ficaria has nodes at the end of the roots which can be eaten when well cooked. Check out Ray's dvd Bushcraft in the first episode Aboriginal Britain where he cooks Celandine as a snack while he makes a primitive bow.
Nettles(Urtica dioica)

Some others may be able to shed more light on the fungi though.
