Any ideas what this might be, an ornamental tree in a park.

Leaves and bark look like it's something from the maple family but beyond that I know not

Oh, thanks for that, it looks about right, I don't remember seeing the berries in previous years, but will keep an eye out.

My four year old daughter is entertained that I can name most of the trees that we pass, If I'm stumped I make a point of trying to find out what it is.
