My dad got an axe given to him by a neighbour, its a 2 3/4 lb felling axe with a 23 inch handle. It was in a really rough state, rusty and with a blunt, dented edge so today I drilled out the plastic wedge, took the head off and sanded, polished filed and sharpened it. Next I sanded the handle and re-hung the head, last off was to drill a lanyard hole and linseed it. Now just have to make a mask. I forget to take any wip pics but heres the end result....
