So, to the axe, described by the folk at Thorn Wood Forge as 'one axe to rule them all.
It's hand-forged from EN9 steel with an ash handle and features an over-strike guard as an integral part of the axe head. This one's condition is as new. If you wanted to buy one from the makers, it would cost you £525; this one is yours for £300 o.n.o..
It is a beautiful tool but is much more than I need or want.
