Only joking! How about needles from the long bones? I'm pretty sure there is a tutorial by PatrickM here, with his usual excellent pictures and awesome craftmanship. Of course, as long as they work they don't need to be as immaculate as his! Also, I see to recall a bone being used as an awl to thread string between the coils of a straw basket being made. The bone is split at an angle across ways so that you have a gouge. You push that between the coils and then have a space to thread the string through.
As for the verterbrae, a grisly necklace or runes ar the only things I can think of. maybe fish hooks?
