if it was a big enough tree to warrant using these, there wouldn't be damage, after all, hacking into a tree to get sap leaves no trace, does it? i only meant cool in the different idea sense of the word. and i know what the bushcraft ethos is, thanks :rolleyes:
 
No, no no no no and um NO! (In my opinion)

I was going to be a tree surgeon until I realised they used ropes and safety harnesses. I'm a fim believer in climbing any tree or rock free of any help.
Ok not very safety conscious but I like the idea of getting back to nature in its simplest form.

That aside, if your kid wants a tree house they're perfect! :)
