Another good book by Guy Grieve is 'Call of the Wild' about his year in the Alaskan Wilderness, I think it was reviewed on here a while back

Another vote for this book I bought it a while back and found it very interesting.
It mentioned a TV series but must have missed that one.

The series was on Channel 4 (I think) a couple of years ago.
