Really enjoyed making one, I like big knives and I think this one qualifies! 10 inch bowie style camp knife in 01, handle is stacked satinwood and mahogany with ash spacers. Teak oiled finish. Brass finger guard (needs a final polish) but I think the ensemble works! And of course at this time of year it's good for fending off carol singers

Personally, I think the handle lets down the blade which is a real shame as I do like the blade.
I think it's a little plain shaped being an oval and maybe too bulky, customer spec that though
Thanks for that on the blade I do like bowies

You're getting better Mick, keep at it. Most of the makers on here, started out like this, and are now making stuff thats absolutely amazing.

Nice! That's for some serious cutting! The handle looks like it will fit in the hand well.
Cheers :) more suited to bigger hands, but it does chop admirably, going to be used more like a small machete as I understand
