Really enjoyed making one, I like big knives and I think this one qualifies! 10 inch bowie style camp knife in 01, handle is stacked satinwood and mahogany with ash spacers. Teak oiled finish. Brass finger guard (needs a final polish) but I think the ensemble works! And of course at this time of year it's good for fending off carol singers

Personally, I think the handle lets down the blade which is a real shame as I do like the blade.

I think it's a little plain shaped being an oval and maybe too bulky, customer spec that though

Personally I prefer plain to stacked handles, but it's an impressive thing right enough.

I'm actually not. The lad who now owns it is a bit of a leatherworker so he's making one himself

Cheers more suited to bigger hands, but it does chop admirably, going to be used more like a small machete as I understand
