The Good life - new and old.

Any other fans of "The Good Life" series? I downloaded the whole lot the other day to discover that there is now a new version "Giles and Sue live the good life"

The original played a big part in who I am today tbh.

Any self sufficiency fans on the forums?

saw the 1st episode last week, fully expecting to hate it. Much to my disgust I actually thought it was quite well done.

Well I enjoyed the program 'the good life' the first time around , but the thing that set us going (as in moved way up north) was 'start a new life in the country'.
Now we live 6 miles from the nearest shops...and oiks and rubbish etc.
