Testing my new DIY underquilt tonight

Received a cheap sleeping bag from Tengu on the GIO thread which I'd asked for so I could make an underquilt for my hammock

After much sewing, I realised that my design didn't work but using some large safety pins I rerigged it and am now suspended in my front garden, open to the elements. It's going to need some tweaking but as it was dark by the time I got to making it I ran out of time. If I survive, I'll take photos tomorrow

Yes I am. Not a bad night although woke up covered in dew. I was fairly warm but wasn't fully in my sleeping bag. Will take some photos of the quilt before & after I modify it

It was 12c last night here, best to try it in mid winter
