tentipi. ive gone and done it

just had to tell someone. ive gone and purchased myself a tentipi. a vagge 5 light. cant wait to test it later this week. has anybody else got one got any tips for me? really looking forward to my lads first camping trips in it

actually. i cancelled that and brought a helsport kongsvold 8-10 lavvu from tamarack. with the money saved ive brought a frontier stove. and got half the money towards a canoe! happy days

I really want a tipi and stove set up but I don't have the money nor the space to store it

I have a lavuu and am getting a frontier stove for my birthday next month. I will get the flashing kit too and have fun setting it up.

My only concern is that I proofed my lavuu with Tompsons Waterseal a few years ago and am really worried about the safety of it- might have to invest in some fire retardant spray!!

I've just spent the last few nights in a tentipi up at Comrie, just like a home from home really.

-4 on Saturday and I had to jump out of bed at 6 a.m to chuck a log on the burner, but that's all part of the fun I guess

Lavvu tents are great fun me and the missus just spent this weekend in one too, I was burning peat bricks in the stove and they seamed to last a long time at night can see mine here http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86729
