Got my Gouge today under £5.00 inc delivery!(On top of Kuksa)!

just noticed a split getting bigger right on the front!:banghead:
Will have to start another tomorrow!!!!......

get it in a zip lock bag pronto, you might just be able to save it, make sure you take the pith section out as well, or hugo & i will have to take the pith;)

if you put it in a bag it will be in it's own protective atmosphere and it slows the drying process down, you might be able to save it, if not, over next doors fence it goes for his wood burner:(

I like taking the pith out.
If you are doing the carving indoors it will dry out too quick, try leaving it outside when not working on it.
The first 3 kuksa's I did two of them had a small split, only because I brought them indoors where it was too warm.

thanks for the coment Bikebum, Been my favourite spoon so far, That was my 7th spoon carved, and i like it!
