Small cooking spoon / larger eating spoon in seasoned Sycamore, burnished finish on exterior surfaces, bowl interior is as it came of the knife.

Nice :) very tidy :)

I like sycamore in the kitchen. It's clean and fuss free, long lasting and sound.
One of my favourites too, nice to carve even when seasoned, nice to cook with and i find that it tends not too stain that readily either, it does stain with food acids, but not as much as say a bit of Birch, mind you Beetroot or Turmeric will change the colour of anything fairly quickly as the yellow tinge on my eating spoon attests to, but i guess that s called character, like the flattened edge that's appeared through years of scrapping my plate with the side of the bowl.
